Our Story
About us
L² Squared Painting is a family owned company. We are fully registered and insured.
My wife Natalia and I started this company together, we were inspired by our two loving daughters, Lia and Lily and that is how L² Squared came to life, thanks to the L dynamic duo, which are the motor that keeps us busy and in love with our life and our family.
Kamloops has been my home since 2007. Prior to painting, I have been working as a Registered Nurse in remote industrial work camps in Northern BC and Alberta for 11 years and after being away for over a decade, it was time to be home with my family. In addition, I also worked at Royal Inland Hospital and Hillside Psychiatric Center in Kamloops and I got my Nursing degree at Thompson Rivers University right here in town.
With years of a burning desire, it became time for me to change career paths, start a business from scratch and most importantly, work from home so I can be with my family everyday.
I grew up in Clearwater, BC learning to be a handy and jack-of-all-trades type of person from my dad, grandparents and uncles. I have extensive experience in painting, home renovations and monkey-wrenching on vehicles. I consider myself a trustworthy, hard working and meticulous type of person and painter, which I will transfer into your home and work projects.
Natalia is from Medellin, Colombia. She went to international business school in her home country. After working in an office for several years she pursued her own interpreter and translations business with the goal of being a working-from-home mom. Currently, she continues working as an spanish/english translator, international business sales rep for a Colombian Company and during her free time she teaches Latin Dancing in Kamloops. Natalia operates the administrative portfolio of L² Squared Painting.
